Josh Walsh

Josh graduated from Murdoch University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in environmental science. Josh commenced with McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf in early 2023, serving as law clerk prior to his graduation. He has a particular interest in corporate governance and its interaction with environmental law.

Josh has assisted on the provision of advice in relation to environmental licencing under Part V of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA), project proponents’ compliance with planning legislation and regulations, and project proponents’ compliance with environmental regulations including clearing regulations. On the firm's litigious matters, Josh regularly assists at all stages of litigation, including preparing matters for trial and State Administrative Tribunal hearings. Josh also has experience in review of leases for renewable energy operations and waste processing facilities, along with review of agreements for the provision of waste services. Josh regularly assists in the preparation of deputations and submissions to local councils and the WAPC on behalf of proponents and has assisted clients in relation to the environmental appeals process.
