Jemima Williamson-Wong

Jemima joined McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf in August 2025 as a law clerk while completing her studies, and was admitted to practice in February 2026.

Jemima's practice includes advising on compliance with environmental regulations relating to clearing, and she regularly assists in preparing matters for the State Administrative Tribunal and Supreme Court. 

Jemima supports clients seeking approval for short-stay rental accommodation, including navigating the approval process and any steps following refusal. Jemima regularly assists on planning matters concerning the approval or refusal of projects by local government, including coordinating with consultants such as town planners and corresponding with local governments in relation to proposals. Her experience also includes advising on subdivisions and associated planning and environmental approvals, contamination matters, mining tenement advice, and local government processes and complaints.

Jemima is an elected member of the City of Fremantle, which has helped to form her interest in planning law and the relationship between our built and natural environment.

Jemima holds a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University.
