Chris Harold

Chris joins McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf after working in a major national firm practising in insurance litigation. His role provided him with extensive experience in the District Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal including preparing matters for trial, negotiating favourable commercial settlements and advising clients on complex liability claims. Chris is a previous committee member of NELA and has maintained a strong interest in planning an environment law.

Prior to commencing his career in legal practice, Chris was a professional soccer player in the A-League with a career spanning 10 years and 175 professional appearances. Chris was the all-time record appearance holder for Perth Glory when he retired in 2020. As a former professional athlete, Chris brings his vast high-performance experience to McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf.

Chris also extends his legal and soccer background outside his professional work. He is a non-executive director of Football West, a tribunal member for Football Australia’s Disciplinary and Grievances Committee and a committee member for the Professional Footballers Australia ‘Greener Pitch Committee’.
