Olivia Bamess

Olivia joins McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf after working at a large Western Australian firm practising in property and real estate law. Olivia’s prior work had a strong focus on land development and land tenure matters and includes experience undertaking due diligence, advising on subdivision processes and conditions, preparing relevant subdivision documentation, and navigating complex tenure issues. Olivia has also supported transactions including renewable energy projects, acquisitions and disposals of land, land swap and cost-sharing arrangements, and redevelopments of community infrastructure.

Olivia graduated from Murdoch University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction. During her studies, Olivia worked as a paralegal in property and real estate at her previous firm and in land administration for a large metropolitan local government, gaining experience with the Land Administration Act 1997 (WA) and the inner workings of local government.
