Vipasha Mehta

Vipasha joined McLeod Fisher & Hamdorf after working at a leading law firm in New Zealand, where she was part of the Environment & Resource Management team. Vipasha specialises in resource management, environmental and local government law, and has advised and acted for private and public sector clients on a broad range of planning and environmental approval matters.

Vipasha has acted for public and private sector clients to obtain planning and environmental approvals for large transport and utility scale renewable energy projects as well as advising on relevant compulsory acquisition processes. She has also acted for private industrial clients in relation to environmental approval and remediation litigation proceedings for historic land contamination and air discharges. Vipasha also has extensive experience advising both public and private sector clients on residential intensification scheme amendments and development project frameworks. 

Vipasha holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology) from the University of Auckland, and is now an admitted practitioner in Western Australia.
